All Stars for All Y’All
Conceived and organized an ongoing initiative in support of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts of the International Bluegrass Music Association. Participants donate to request songs from bluegrass powerhouses during the annual IBMA convention in Raleigh.
Tabbing
Tabbing increases accessibility by putting music into a form that banjo players can use. Nikolai has done professional tabbing work for Hal Leonard Publishers, Béla Fleck, Blue Ridge Banjo Camp, and more. More on Banjo Hangout >
Teaching
Nikolai offers banjo lessons to kids and adults from beginner to advanced levels, in person and over Zoom. Visit the contact page with inquiries about teaching.
Songwriting

Banjoing in Unexpected Places
In front of the entrance to the Hudson Yards subway station. A pho restaurant in Pennsylvania. Your middle school graduation. There’s no corner of the world that can’t be made more joyful by the addition of a little banjo music. Volunteer Performances
